Brooksville, FL (Hernando County) is right next to US-98, and about 5 miles from I-75, capitalizing on overland networks. 60+ motor carriers and 30+ terminals are located in the county offering one-day access to the East Coast’s major markets. The Tampa Port Authority, which is the largest cargo port in the state of Florida, is only an hour away.
The region’s location is ideal for expansion of industry tied to logistics and transportation, and agriculture. The proximity of a primary site to major state and national highways, railroads, and ports means less time on the road and more time churning out valuable product. The area is home to over 700 farms equaling over 60,000 acres of land.
Florida is the 5th fastest growing states in the United States. The facility will service a region of the country that is benefiting from both east-west traffic and north-south traffic. Launch date is Spring 2021. The budget for the facility is $60 million.
